- 99% of people use CTAs wrongly.
99% of people use CTAs wrongly.
As a business owner or a startup:
You just can’t go without a Website.
Why?
It is a place to:
Display your service
Display your story
Display your social proofs
In other words, it is the place for you to SELL.
And when it comes to selling, your CTA is everything.
Here’s a simple checklist to make your CTA irresistible:
1. Make It Clear.
Your CTA should be:
Clear
Concise
Easy to understand
You can use simple language (Sign up or Buy now, etc.).
2. Make It Visible.
Place it in the most visible locations
Use contrasting colors.
3. Propose Value
Communicate the value or benefit of clicking.
It can be:
exclusive content
special offer
etc.
4. Create Urgency
Create a sense of urgency or scarcity.
It will motivate visitors to act quickly.
You can use things like:
Limited Time Offer
Only X Left
etc.
Be authentic.
No one buys from frauds.
5. Grab Attention
Make the design of your CTA:
Visually appealing
Attention-grabbing.
6. A/B Test
Continuously test different variations of your CTAs.
Why?
To identify which ones perform best.
Such as:
Wording
Colors
Sizes
Placement
7. Clear Path to Action
After the user clicks your CTA.
Make sure that the subsequent steps are clear.
No one wants to be confused.
That’s it.
There is nothing complex about a good CTA.
But simple doesn’t mean easy.
P.S. Are you looking for someone who can help you put these pieces together? DM “website” to get started.
