What is YouTube Automation?

As the title suggests, it is ideally an automated process—in this case, a process of uploading endless amounts of YouTube videos without your presence.

Sounds nice? It surely does, but the sad truth is that it is not as easy as you may think!

This isn’t a money-making machine or a passive income of sorts since it generates very little, if not barely any, money (due to watch time).

But in this series, I want to solve that issue and make our dream come true.

For now, let’s focus on the main goal of our channel: Growth.

The more subscribers, the more views, and the more potential viewers there are to watch our videos.

So an ideal place to start is with YouTube Shorts.

Day 1: Set up ChatGPT

At this point, I’m sure we are all aware of those AI-generated videos we see on YouTube, mostly in Shorts.

They tend to have some text and a generated voiceover, talking about some rather popular topics or facts.

For now, I want to start as simple as possible; those videos will require our interference. We don’t want that.

What we want is a completely generated video. Reduce as much of our presence as possible.

ChatGPT

The common and most effective tool to give us our so-called ‘script’.

The niche I’ll be choosing for our channel is “Quotes”.

People love quotes, especially when they hit home.

But what type of quotes? Motivational?

No, I’ll be using feelings—heartbreaks, love, and maybe boys or girls facts—for relatability.

So without further ado, let’s get started.

Steps You will need to take.

Head over to ChatGPT, and we'll start the conversation by:

‘I want you to come up with some quotes in the following styles I’m going to teach you.

The quotes need to be made up of two parts. The first part is the part where I want to make people intrigued by the second part.

Here are some examples:

First part: ‘If you really love someone…

Second part: You have to let go.’

Example 2:

First part: ‘When you’re in love…

Second part: you just know, no matter what anyone else says.’

If you understand, say yes.’

Note: By providing more examples, ChatGPT will produce much better results.

After doing so, the AI will, of course, say yes’. Therefore, we continue.

‘ Okay, I want the quotes to be about {your topics: love, heartbreak, boys and girls facts'. Could you provide some examples of the themes ‘love’, heartbreak, and boy and girl facts’?’

ChatGPT will give you multiple upon multiple of these quotes; if you don’t like them, tell it to try again! But if you do, say “Very good” to confirm your selection.

The next part is extremely important, this will determine our later processes.

‘ Now I want you to categorize them in Excel style as follows:
Theme (you choose): Be specific.

First part (here you place the first part of the quotes)

Second part (here you place the second part of the quotes):

By doing this, ChatGPT will create a table for you.

Why do we need to do this? As the answer suggests, we can now copy and paste ChatGPT’s output onto an Excel sheet.

Note.

Before doing so, create at least 300–1000 of these quotes (yes, that sounds outrageous, but trust me, the more the better). Our process is fully automated, so be prepared.

Say ‘Perfect, now I want you to write 30 (the maximum ChatGPT can write) different quotes about {your theme}.’

Well done! You have gone through the painful steps of teaching ChatGPT; it wasn’t so hard, but it can be time-consuming!
